Version 1.0.30 of the VibeFlow app is rolling out on Google Play, and the website at sxagg.com moves with it. It is the largest update since the app launched. Three things are new in kind rather than degree: a way to prove you are a real person and get a blue badge for it, a shop on every profile with real payments behind it, and a reporting system that tells both sides what was decided. The rest of this post is the detail, then the smaller things and the fixes.

A blue badge for people who prove who they are

Open Profile → Get verified, read the notice, tick the box, and choose MyKad or passport. The check runs on our own server — nothing is handed to a third party unless our own check cannot decide — and it takes about a minute:

  • Photograph the front of the card. It is judged the moment you take it: flat, level, all four corners in view, lit, sharp, and its number readable. A card that fails any of those is retaken on the spot, free, before anything else is asked of you.
  • A short sequence of prompts the server chose at random a moment earlier — a blink and an open mouth every time, plus a step closer or further away. The app only coaches you into the poses; the server measures them itself from the photographs.
  • The screen flashes a random order of colours while the front camera watches the light come back off your face. A screen held up to the lens does not take on the colour it is shown; a face does.

The face on the card is then compared with the selfies, the card's own details are cross-checked against each other (a MyKad's printed details against its number; a passport's machine-readable zone check digits and expiry), and a vision model looks for a screen, a print or a composite. Every check produces a reason, not a score you cannot argue with. Clear cases are decided automatically; anything borderline goes to a person, and you are told which it was. A refusal costs one of five attempts; a photograph that just needs retaking costs nothing.

The badge shows next to your name everywhere: posts, comments, chats, the live room, your storefront and your public page on the website. Verified accounts can schedule posts up to a year ahead with suggested best times, get a modest lift in the ranked feeds and in comment ordering, and can invite the people who engage with them to follow — one invitation per person a month, twenty a day, and only if the other person has that switch on.

The same check is now on the website too: sign in at sxagg.com/verify and it runs in the browser with your webcam, against the same server and the same rules. The app remains the better place for it — a phone can hold its screen at full brightness for the colour flash, a browser cannot — but a laptop with a camera will do.

A shop on every profile

Every account can sell. Add photographs, a price and a few words from your profile in the app, and the listing appears in your shop window, in your storefront, and in the new 商城 tab that sits between Following and For You — sorted by 综合 (a blend that does not bury new listings under old best-sellers) or by 销量, sales.

  • Buying is one product per order with a quantity, paid by online banking (FPX) through Billplz or by card through Stripe — the same gateways that already handle wallet top-ups. Prices are in ringgit, never coins.
  • The seller ships and adds a tracking reference; you confirm receipt, or the order completes on its own after seven days. Only then does the seller's share move from pending to available, less a 5% platform fee. Payouts of the available balance are settled by support for now.
  • Every change to an order is also an email — to you when you place it and when it ships, to the seller when it is paid and when it completes — so nobody has to keep the app open to know what happened.

The whole shop is on the website as well: sxagg.com/shop lets anyone browse and search, buy with the same two gateways, follow orders, and — for sellers — list items, ship and see the balance. It is one shop, not two: the same listings, orders and balances whichever door you use. If you run a confession page, your public portal can show your shop window too; it is off unless you turn it on, per page, from your dashboard.

Not in this version, on purpose: carts, automatic refunds through the gateway (a paid order is refunded by support), and payouts you trigger yourself.

Ten coins to the ringgit

Coins now cost ten to the ringgit instead of five. Every existing balance kept its count. The fan-club keepalive is one coin. Older builds still carry the old packages and cannot top up until they update; the app tells you so.

Report a post or a message, and hear back

Any community post can be reported for human review from its menu, and so can a message in a chat — private or group — with its photo, video or sticker attached to the report. Reports are weighted: a person whose reports have been accurate counts for more than one whose reports keep being dismissed, so a pile-on cannot remove a post by itself.

  • Both sides hear the outcome. The reporter is told whether the content was removed or kept; the author is told what was removed and why.
  • A removal is a redaction, not a deletion: everyone else stops seeing the content, while the author and the people who reported it can still see what was decided about. A message a moderator removed can no longer be deleted by anyone, so the record stays.

Schedule a year ahead, preview it, cross-post it

Verified accounts can schedule a community post up to a year out. The scheduled list shows each post exactly as it will appear, offers suggested times when you reschedule, and lets you choose a Facebook Page or Instagram account to cross-post to when it goes out. Each platform gets its own status line, and a failed one can be retried without touching the post.

Live rooms, levels and gifts

  • The gift sound switch now sits on the gift animation itself, where you want it, rather than in Settings.
  • How fan-club and user levels are earned is published in the app, with the ladders and the rules that climb them.
  • In the host view, the fan-club pill gives way to the PK button instead of drawing over it.

Polls and events that find you

A poll or an event now surfaces to the people it is for, from what they already read and take part in, inside Malaysian waking hours and never more than a few a day. Find people suggests accounts worth following from the same signals.

The friends bar, stickers and three languages

These arrived with the first 1.0.30 builds and are worth repeating. The Chats tab opens on a row of your mutual follows: a green dot for who is online, a Map bubble for who is sharing their location, and a 24-hour note you can leave above your face — all visible to mutual follows only, enforced on the server. The message bar was redesigned so a panel takes the keyboard's place: album, camera and calls behind +, and over a thousand emoji, your own stickers and a searchable GIF library behind the smiley. Stickers can be made from your own photos and clips, up to 30 a day, and shared publicly or kept private with one switch. And every screen in the app now reads in English, Bahasa Melayu or 中文, with System default following your phone's whole language list.

Fixes

  • The document camera no longer crashes the app on some phones.
  • Reaction badges hang below the bubble, clear of the tick and the time.
  • The report sheet no longer breaks at large text sizes.
  • An event invite survives a long title and a dark theme.
  • Delete is no longer offered on a message moderators removed.
  • A report is only claimed when there was one.
  • The capture guide fits the screen it is drawn on, and the colour flash gives the screen back afterwards.

Under the hood

The pose coach that watches for a blink or a turn now runs on MediaPipe's face mesh on the phone, with Google ML Kit as an automatic fallback on devices where it cannot run. The server never trusted the coach's numbers anyway — it measures every pose from the photographs itself — so nothing about the verdict changes with the engine.

Update, and one thing to know

The update is free and your account, posts, chats and connected Pages are untouched. Identity verification asks you to read and agree to the notice before it starts; a build older than 1.0.30 cannot start a verification until it updates, because its notice was out of date. If you are on a version from before the move to sxagg.com, update from Google Play and sign in with the same email and password.
